Pastor arrested for challenging the President's restriction

The founder and leader of the

Open Arms Ministries, Pastor Nkansah Sarkodie, has been arrested for defying the ban which was imposed on gatherings by the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo on 15th March, 2020 as part of the measures to combat the outbreak of the CoronaVirus Diseases which has been declared pandemic by the World Health Organisation.

The Kumasi based pastor was arrested on the 18th day of March, 2020 by some recognised men from the office of the Ghana Police Service after they were hinted by some residents in the community.
