The Minister of Education and the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Honourable Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh within the week, has found himself in a fierce criticism as a result of his comment which almost all teachers from the Colleges of Education referred and still referring to as appalling.

Napo was reported to have said that, " Teachers from CoEs went with Worst Results".

The Honourable Minister after been hinted on the backlashes from the teachers on his comment, found his way out to explain the rationale behind his comment in an interview in the studios of Nhyira FM.

In the interview, he disclosed that, " the video was doctored by some people just to achieve their evil plots, I can't disrespect teachers for their selfless and sacrificial works", Napo said.

In a new circular, the Minister is alleged to have penned to end the Study Leave with Pay in which some Diploma Teachers apply to upgrade themselves in the Universities.


The circular reads:
Any diploma teacher here who wish to go on study leave with pay should better do it this year, information available from hardcore sources  indicates that Napo has penned to end that offer for diploma teachers but can't bring it now due to the election.
If NPP wins again, all of you will remember this statement oneday.
I dont do politics please,  i don't support NDC nor NPP.
Am only giving out thiss information because i feel someone needs it somewhere.

The Minister is yet to respond to it.
